JL Boogie Vans

Been thinking its about time to bring back Boogie Vans. Our last van release was Vantastic and designed by our buddy Dirty Donny. Its been a huge hit and am thinking about asking him to help me design a new Boogie Van series. I'm still tossing around the idea of doing back to back releases in the JL2.0 line or maybe doing 2-3 a month in Forever 64. Let me know what you guys think.

  1. Like to see each, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, GMC & VW in white. Also in Johnny Red with JL Logo.

With white, even with tampos, could be removed and one could add their own graphics to it.

  3. Tom,

Look up the 70s Ford Crusin' Van in Silver. I think if you could do it up like a real 1:1 that would be sweet. It was close once, but has never been done in the correct colors.

  4. I always liked the Boogie Vans but they sat on the pegs pretty badly around here. I think they'd do better in Forever 64 than to try and do an assortment of just vans.

Looking forward to some funky '70s style vans!

  5. Any reason to finally get another Dodge Van is good in my book. But 1 in 2.0 and 2 in F64 would be good for now. Test the waters and see how we react.

  6. Use 2.0 if it involves art. As you have mentioned, there are limitations you have on colors with the regular F64 line. I think Vantastic was a hit because the detail of the art.

  8. tom,
I would love to see more vans. gotta go big or not at all though. pinstriping and murals all the way for paint. and I agree with jeremy about the racers edge wheels. an all metal van + a set of racers edge would make an awesome downhill vehicle.

  9. Tom, C'mon man, I think I need to be a part of this as well!
I would love nothing more than to see the series redone and updated. You definitely need a mid Ford Shorty as well as some earlis in there. Our club just got on the front page of Hot Rod as well as Truckin.com
